
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Linda Merica lives and works in the beautiful community of Vista, CA nestled in
the rolling hills of North San Diego.
As the mother of three very creative and
energetic daughters, Linda has always found time to provide a creative outlet
for her family in song, dance, cooking and her passion, paper mache.
Please take the time to look over the work she has put together and she would
be happy to discuss her techniques and style with you.
Television Credits
The author has appeared on HGTV’s, “That’s Clever” (formally “Crafters Coast
to Coast”)--most recently aired on June 28, 2006--where she did a home
demonstration of paper mache’ wall art. The instructions for this project are
listed on
www.hgtv.com under the author’s name. Another television appearance aired on
January 31, 2007, this time The DIY Network, had author Linda Merica showing the
step-by-step process for creating a paper mache’ cobblestone floor. This
program, “Craft Lab”, from Screen Door Entertainment, is hosted by Jennifer
Perkins. Instructions for the author’s floor installation project are listed on
www.diynetwork.com, by searching under cobblestone floors.
The author will be appearing again on HGTV this Spring/Summer on their design
series ”Look What I Did.” On that episode, she will display some examples of her
work and discuss the attributes of paper mache’.
